The nominations for the 2020 Golden Globes were announced Monday Morning. Game of Thrones’ final season only earned one nomination. Kit Harington scored a nod for best actor in a drama series.
The Irishman earned a total of 5 nominations but no acting nod for Robert DeNiro. Al Pacino and Joe Pesci were both nominated for Best Supporting Actor.
Meryl Streep earned her 34th Golden Globe nomination. Streep was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a series, limited-series or TV movie for her role on Big Little Lies. She broke her own record of 33 nominations, the most anyone has ever gotten.
Marriage Story was the big winner with six GOLDEN GLOBE nominations on Monday. Scarlett Johansson, Laura Dern and Adam Driver all earned acting nods. The film was also nominated for best drama, screenplay and score.
This year’s ceremony will be held on January 5, 2020 and Ricky Gervais will return as host for the 5th time. Congrats to all the nominees.
