Tom Hanks revealed that he turned down an invitation from Jeff Bezos to join a Blue Origin flight to space during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “Well, yeah, provided I pay,” Hanks responded when Kimmel asked him about the invite. “You know, it costs like 28 million bucks or something like that. I’m doing good, Jimmy, I’m doing good. But I ain’t paying 28 million.” He joked that maybe if the flight were free he’d do it “just in order to experience the joy of pretending I’m a billionaire.”
One day after Jay-Z joined Instagram he deleted his profile. The hip-hop mogul already had over 2 million followers and held the honor of being the only person that his wife Beyoncé followed on Instagram. She was the only person that he followed on the platform.
Ryan Reynolds opened up about his plans for his “sabbatical from movie making” that he announced in October. “I’m just trying to create a little bit more space for my family and time with them,” Reynolds told The Hollywood Reporter. “You know, you don’t really get that time back.” The Deadpool star said he would “probably be away from film, or at least shooting films, till the end of the summer. It just provides me an opportunity to be home.”
