Richard Simmons died one day after his 76th birthday. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to his home after a 911 call from his housekeeper and found Simmons dead. According to LAFD sources he was pronounced dead at the scene of natural causes. Simmons posted on social media on Friday, “Thank you…I never got so many messages about my birthday in my life!,” Simmons wrote. “I am sitting here writing emails. Have a most beautiful rest of your Friday. Love, Richard.”
Alec Baldwin’s involuntary manslaughter case has been dismissed. Baldwin broke into tears when Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer dismissed the case based on the misconduct of police and prosecutors over the withholding of evidence from the defense in the 2021 shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film “Rust.”
