Ted Danson reflected on the first time he met his Cheers co-star Woody Harrelson. “He is a whimsical creature,” Danson said of Harrelson. “He’s astounding. He’s such a bundle of contradictions.” Danson said Harrelson got into a “bar fight” and was “carjacked” the same day. “One of my favorite Cheers stories is, waiting for him, and he got to be about 30 minutes late for rehearsal,” Danson said. “And we were going, ‘Well, what the hell?’ And someone came running in and said, ‘Woody called. He’s in Berlin. The wall is coming down and he didn’t wanna miss it.'”
Conan O’Brien is set to host the 9th Academy Awards. The former late night host said, “America demanded it and now it’s happening: Taco Bell’s new Cheesy Chalupa Supreme. In other news, I’m hosting the Oscars.” This will be Conan’s first time hosting Hollywood’s big night. The Oscars will air on March 2nd, 2025.
