Jimmy Fallon returned to The Tonight Show on Monday night. Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance on the show. She was not schedule to appear but producers reached out to her since they knew she was in town to do SNL. They wanted to do something special since it was Fallon’s first night back since his mother passed away. Producer Mike DiCenzo said that Swift, “said yes with zero hesitation.” Her emotional performance of “New Year’s Day” was a beautiful tribute to Fallon’s mom.
