In her new book This Is Me, Chrissy Metz opens up about her painful childhood. In an excerpt from the book published in People, Metz revealed that her stepfather was abusive. “He shoved me, slapped me, punched my arm. He would hit me if he thought I looked at him wrong. I remember being on the kitchen floor after he knocked me over, and I was begging to know what I did. He just shoved me hard with his foot.”
Hilary Swank has not been in the spotlight for the three years. The Oscar winner revealed the reason for her absence on Tuesday’s episode of The Late show. Swank was caring for her father Stephen Swank he underwent a lung transplant. “ I took three years off to be with him and help him through that life journey,” she said.
