Taylor Swift tops Forbes’ annual Celebrity 100 list of the highest paid celebs. Swift earned an estimated $170 million over the past year. The pop star was number eight on the list last year but her highly successful 1989 World Tour help put her on top. The number two spot went to former boy band One Direction with $110 million.
Aerosmith’s Joe Perry is in stable condition after he collapsed while performing with the Hollywood Vampires in Brooklyn. The legendary guitarist did not look well when he took the stage for the first song and after taking a seat on the base of the drum kit he stumbled backstage and collapsed. He was transported to the hospital by an ambulance.
Chaka Khan put her July performances on hold and checked into rehab for an addiction to prescription pain medicine. Chaka and her sister both entered a rehab program. Prince’s recent death from an overdose reportedly spurred her decision to seek treatment.
