Bill Cosby was sentenced Tuesday to three to 10 years in state prison for drugging and molesting Andrea Constand. The comedian, was sentenced after being found guilty of three counts of felony aggravated indecent assault in April . Cosby’s sentence came just hours after Judge O’Neill ruled that Cosby is a “sexually violent predator,“ a designation that includes registration as a sex offender and lifelong notification and counseling requirements. More than 60 women have come forward with allegations against him.
In an op-ed in the New York Times on Tuesday Padma Lakshmi , wrote that she dated a 23-year-old college student when she was 16 and just a few months into the relationship he raped her. She revealed that she went home with him, fell asleep, and woke up with him on top of her. Lakshmi also mentions being molested by an adult male family member at 7 years old. After Lakshmi told her mother and stepfather about it, she was sent to live in India with relatives for a year as punishment.
Holly Madison and Pasquale Rotella are calling it quits after almost five years of marriage. An insider told People that the couple split over the summer and that Madison is now based in Los Angeles and is “doing okay.” She filed for divorce on August 31st in Las Vegas. The couple were married in October 2013 and have two children together.
