Mayim Bialik is headed back to TV in her first gig since the end of the Big Bang Theory. According to The Hollywood Reporter she is teaming up with her former co-star Jim Parsons to executive produce a new series for Fox called Carla. The show is based on the BBC series Miranda created by Miranda Hart. The former Blossom start will play Carla who spends the money her parents saved for her wedding to star a cat cafe in Louisville, Kentucky.
It’s official ABC announced that Ryan Seacrest will return as host of American Idol next season. “’American Idol’ has been my home for 17 seasons and I can’t wait to return to the stage,” Seacrest said. “It’s the greatest gift to be able to play a part in discovering new talent with a franchise that has been such a relevant part of American culture for so many years.”
Carson Daly and his wife Siri are expecting baby #4. “We’re thrilled. We have the best family,” Carson said on TODAY. “We have a lot of fun, so we thought, ‘Why not? Let’s have another one.’” The fourth Daly baby is due in the Spring and will join Jackson, 10, Etta, 7, and London, 5.
