Demi Lovato will perform at the 2020 Grammys. Lovato announced her rerun to the stage on social media. “I told you the next time you’d hear from me I’d be singing,” she shared alongside a photo of herself with Grammy Performer written on it. This will be her first public performance since her 2018 drug overdose.
Vince Vaughn went viral on Twitter Monday night. Vaughn was filmed chatting with President Donald Trump and the First Lady in a private box at the NCAA College Football Championship. At one point the Dodgeball star reaches over and shakes Trump’s hand. Supporters and critics caused the actor to trend on social media. Many fans pointed out that Vaughn has publicly identified as a Republican in the past.
Elizabeth Banks was named the 2020 recipient of Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals’ Woman of the Year award. “The Pudding is thrilled to present this honor to such a celebrated actress in both film and television, who is also known for breaking ground in Hollywood as a female director and producer,” the organization said in a statement. Past recipients include Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Kerry Washington and Bryce Dallas Howard.
