Scarlett Johansson is suing Disney. The Black Widow star has filed a breach of contract lawsuit against her former employers because the film had a hybrid release. It opened in theaters the same day it premiered on Disney+ . The lawsuit states Marvel Entertainment and Disney reportedly guaranteed an exclusive theatrical release because Johansson agreed that her salary for the film would be based, in large part, on the film’s box office haul.
Jamie Lee Curtis opened up for the first time about her transgender daughter. In an interview with AARP Curtis said she, ”watched in wonder and pride as our son became our daughter Ruby.” The True Lies star also revealed that Ruby and “her fiancé will get married next year, at a wedding that I will officiate.” Curtis shares two daughters, Ruby, 25, and Annie, 34, with husband Christopher Guest.
Matt Damon confirmed that he will reprise his role as actor Loki in Thor: Love and Thunder during his appearance on The Jess Cage Show. When asked if the upcoming cameo was “a secret,” Damon said, “everybody knows.” He explained, I went down [to Australia] to shoot, and I think they sussed out, ’cause paparazzi took pictures of us, so that they sussed out what we were doing.”
