Superstore star and executive producer America Ferrera is leaving the show after its current fifth season. “The last five years on Superstore have been some of the most rewarding, enriching and enjoyable years of my career. Producing, directing and acting with this wonderful cast and crew has given me opportunities to grow as a person and storyteller, “ Ferrera said in a statement. As I start the next chapter for my family and career, I wish only the best, and much continued success, to my beloved Superstore family.”
Sofia Vergara is joining America’s Got Talent and Heidi Klum is set to return as a judge for the first time since 2018. “I’m so happy to join my new family on (‘America’s Got Talent,’) Vergara said in a statement to Variety. “This is a new and exciting next chapter for me and I’m extremely proud to be the first Latin judge on the show.” The two will join Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel at the judges table.
