Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are headed to court early next month. The former couple will battle each other over the custody of their six children. A trial date has been set for December 4th and according to courts documents a private judge has been appointed to oversee their custody trial through June 30,2019. Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on September 19, 2016, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting full custody of the children.
Idris Elba has been named People’s 2018 Sexiest Man Alive. Elba told the magazine, “I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really?’ ” when he first learned he had been selected. “Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today,’ ” Elba joked. “But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.”
After almost 50 years a documentary featuring performances by the late Aretha Franklin is set to debut. The movie chronicles a performance by Franklin of her double album at a Los Angeles church in 1972. It was originally shot by the Oscar-winning director Sydney Pollack. “Amazing Grace” will premiere Monday in New York at the DOC NYC festival.
