The Devil Wears Prada star explained to Jimmy Fallon that she is known as Anne professionally because of her SAG card that she got when she was only 14. “The only person who calls me Anne is my mother, and she only does it when she’s really mad at me, like really mad. So every time I step out in public and someone calls my name, I think they’re going to yell at me.” She revealed that her friends call her many different nicknames but that she prefers Annie.
Lady Gaga will sing the national anthem during Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ inauguration in Washington D.C. on January 20th. The inauguration committee unveiled the news on Twitter that the singer would perform and that Jennifer Lopez is also set for a “musical performance.” Tom Hanks will be hosting a star-studded inauguration special entitled Celebrating America honoring the incoming administration.
