MATT LEBLANC play tribute to MATTHEW PERRY

Matt LeBlanc paid tribute to his former co-star Matthew Perry on Instagram. LeBlanc posted a series of photos from Friends with Perry. He also included a photo of the cast in a group hug. “Matthew it is with a heavy heart I say goodbye,” LeBlanc captioned the post, set to the song “Rainbow Connection.” “The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend.”

According to the Ankler the production companies for Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Reese Witherspoon are all interested in the movie rights for Britney Spears memoir, The Woman in Me. The outlet reported that all of them bid in “the mid-eight figures” for the rights. An insider noted that Spears is “overwhelmed by the response” of her book and her team wants to “hold off on making any major decisions about where the rights end up until she has time to catch her breath.”

Steve Carell is set to make his Broadway debut this spring. The Office star will portray Vanya in the new adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya. He will lead a cast of television, film and stage veterans in the production, which is to begin performances April 2 and to open April 24 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater at the nonprofit Lincoln Center Theater. This will be the 11th production of the play on Broadway. 

 

JARED LETO scaled THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING

Jared Leto scaled the Empire State Building on Thursday. The stunt was to announce his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars is embarking on a world tour and made Leto the first person to ever legally climb to the top of the iconic landmark. After the climb, he told the NBC morning show, “I was more excited than nervous, to tell you the truth. But I have to be honest, it was very, very hard. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be. Just the endurance that it took, the stamina that it took, and it was very sharp.”

Taylor Swift made Grammy history on Friday when the 2024 nominations were announced. The pop superstar is the first person to be nominated in the song of the year category seven times. Her hit song Anti-Hero got this year’s nomination. She also earned her sixth album of the year nomination for Midnights. She is now tied with music legend Barbra Streisand for the most nominations by a female artist in that category. Swift received six nominations for the 2024 Grammys. 

Robert De Niro lost his court battle with his former personal assistant Graham Chase Robinson. De Niro himself was found not guilty of gender discrimination but his company Canal Productions was found liable. The company must pay $1.26 million in damages to Robinson who worked at the company for 11 years. 

MATTHEW PERRY LAID TO REST

Matthew Perry was laid to rest on Friday. His Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer all attended the funeral at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles. 

Almost a year after Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo welcomed their third child the supermodel confirmed the child’s gender was a boy. The couple are already parents to daughters Dusty Rose and Gio Grace. They have not revealed their son’s name. 

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have welcomed their first child together. Multiple outlets are reporting that the couple welcomed a baby boy last week. Barker previously revealed that they plan to name their son Rocky. Congratulations.

Michael Strahan will not appear on Good Morning America this week. The former NFL star has been absent from the show since late last month. His last appearance was on October 26th. “Michael Strahan will not be with us this week as he is dealing with some personal family matters,” an ABC spokesperson said in a statement. “We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and concerns.”

FRIENDS star MATTHEW PERRY DEAD AT 54

Matthew Perry has reportedly died. According to TMZ the Friends star was found in a jacuzzi at his Los Angeles home. The outlet reported that no drugs were found at the scene and no foul play was involved. Perry was 54-years-old. 

 

 

 

KYLE RICHARDS HURT by photos of MAURICO & EMMA holding hands

Kyle Richards said she was “hurt” by the photos of her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky holding hands with his Dancing with the Stars partner, Emma Slater. Andy Cohen asked Richards about the photos during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live. “I was taken aback,” Kyle said. “That hurt my feelings.” She added, “I don’t know if anything’s happened yet, but obviously there’s something there. Listen, I love him very much and we are amicable, but that really did hurt me.” 

Rob Lowe attended the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos. The West Wing star wore a baseball hat with “Where’s Taylor? written on it. Billy Bush asked Lowe during an interview with Extra, “Do you think Traylor is good for the NFL or a little bit of a sideshow?” Lowe  replied, “I think it is good for the NFL. I know for a fact all kinds of Swifties who couldn’t tell the Kansas City Chiefs from the Kansas City Royals, and now they’re watching.” He added, “They’re both great, they’re both great people. They’re awesome.”

Lil Wayne has joined the Texas Ranchers Pickleball team as part owner and as a strategic adviser. “Pickleball is the moment and I’m excited to be part of the Texas Ranchers ownership group,” the rapper said in a statement.  “I’ve enjoyed watching and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to join this team of owners.” The Texas Ranchers are one of the eight founding Major League Pickleball (MLP) teams. 

PARIS HILTON DEFENDS her SON from CRUEL ONLINE TROLLS

Paris Hilton responded to online trolls commenting on her son Phoenix Barron’s appearance. In an Instagram story Hilton wrote, “Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else’s for that matter, is unacceptable.” She continued, “This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe. I’ve worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return.”

Tara Reid opened up about the constant comments she receives about her weight in a new interview with the Los Angeles Inquisitor. “I have no anorexia and never have,” she said. “And I definitely don’t have any bulimia. I’m terrified of throwing up, so that’s not gonna happen. And I love food too much.” Reid continued, “So anyone that says I’m anorexic or bulimic, they’re wrong. So stop it. Leave me alone.”

Erika Jayne opened up to Entertainment Tonight about why she is still married to her estranged husband Tom Girardi . “In the order of all of the problems I’m facing, it’s probably the absolute last thing,” Erika said of finalizing her divorce. “I just don’t think about it. The day I filed for divorce and we were legally separated, that was it for me. We are in very different places. I have a lot to clean up and pick up and move on.”

 

JOHN STAMOS reveals he suffered SEXUAL ABUSE

John Stamos revealed that he suffered sexual abuse as a child. Stamos elaborated on an excerpt from his upcoming memoir in an interview with People. The Full House star said that he was 10 or 11 years old when the abuse occurred by a babysitter. Even though Stamos “slightly” remembered the incident through time, he said, “it has always been there, but I packed it away as people do, right?” He told the outlet that it took “writing a book” for him to come to the realization that misconduct occurred.

Adam Sandler paused his comedy show on Wednesday to help a fan in the audience who needed medical assistance. As the lights came up in the theater the comedian guided medical staff to where the fan was located. “We’re all wishing you well there, youngster, feel better back there. Sorry about that,” Sandler said after the event. “I hope everybody’s good, everybody’s alright.” Sandler then asked the audience to give a round of applause to the fan who needed assistance. 

Jon Bon Jovi is being honored as the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year. The rock star will be honored by the Recording Academy’s philanthropic organization on February 2nd two days before the Grammys. “I’m truly humbled to be this year’s MusiCares honoree. MusiCares’ work with music professionals is vitally important in creating much needed support and wellness programs that cultivate a healthier and more vibrant community for us all,” the rock legend said in a statement.

SUZANNE SOMERS DIES one day before her 77th BIRTHDAY

Suzanne Somers lost her long battle with cancer one day before her 77th birthday. The Three’s Company star died Sunday morning at her home in Palm Springs. “Suzanne Somers passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Oct. 15. She survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years,” her longtime publicist R. Couri Hay said in a statement. “Suzanne was surrounded by her loving husband, Alan, her son, Bruce, and her immediate family.” Hay also noted a private family burial will take place this week, with a memorial to follow next month.

Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey married his girlfriend Phem over the weekend. According to Page Six the couple tied the night at a private meditation garden in Pacific Palisades followed by a reception at Duke’s Malibu. Avril Lavigne and Bella Thorne were among the guest list. 

Michelle Williams will be the voice of the audiobook for Britney Spears book, The Woman in Me.  Spears will provide the introduction and Williams will narrate the rest.  “This book has been a labor of love and all the emotions that come with it,” Spears  said in a statement to People. “Reliving everything has been exciting, heart-wrenching, and emotional, to say the least. For those reasons, I will only be reading a small part of my audiobook.” She added, “I am so grateful to the amazing Michelle for reading the rest of it.” In a statement, Williams expressed her support of Spears, saying “I stand with Britney.”

JOE JONAS and SOPHIE TURNER HAVE reached a TEMPORARY CUSTODY AGREEMENT

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have reached a temporary custody agreement. According to TMZ the couple will hand off 3-year-old Willa and 1-year-old Delphine to each other on set dates. They will spend Thanksgiving with Jonas and Christmas with Turner. The girls may also travel to the U.K. with their mother.

Gwyneth Paltrow revealed where she keeps her Oscar in an interview for Vogue’s 73 questions. Paltrow won the award for Best Actress in 1998 for Shakespeare in Love.  In the video that was filmed at her home as she passed thru a doorway, the camera paused on an Oscar on the ground, propping a door open. Paltrow turned around with a smile and joked, “My doorstop. It works perfectly!”

Dwayne Johnson responded to the backlash over the Maui fund he created with Oprah Winfrey. “When we first launched the fund, there was some backlash,” Johnson said in a video posted to his Instagram page on Sunday. “ I get it and I completely understand, and I could’ve been better. And next time I will be better.”  Johnson said that “thousands and thousands of survivors” have started to receive the first round of funding.

JASON DERULO is facing a SEXUAL HARASSMENT LAWSUIT

A singer has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Jason Derulo. Emaza Gibson claims that Derulo made unwanted sexual advances towards her after they began working together professionally.  In the lawsuit filed Thursday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Gibson alleges that after she rejected his sexual advances and repeated invitations to dine and drink alcohol he eventually dropped her deal altogether. 

Jamie Lee Curtis praised Pamela Anderson for her choice to go make-up free for Paris Fashion Week. “@pamelaanderson in the middle of fashion week with so many pressures and postures, and and and, this woman showed up and claimed her seat at the table with nothing on her face,” Curtis wrote. “I am so impressed and floored by this act of courage and rebellion.”

Kevin Spacey was rushed to the hospital after he showed signs of a heart attack while attending a film festival. “Mr Spacey was taken to a medical center over health concerns,” a source told the Los Angeles Time that Spacey was eventually given the all clear, adding, “He was treated professionally by doctors and staff and found to have no problem with his heart.” The House of Cards star returned to the festival later that night and appeared on stage where he assured fans that his health was “normal.”
