Start stocking up on this creepy wine before Halloween

This series of wines is perfect to bring to a Halloween party. Called 19 Crimes, each bottle tells the story of a criminal who was banished to Australia by Queen Victoria. “Between 1788 and 1868, 165,000 convicts made the long voyage by sea to Australia. Times were tough for criminals, but these individuals were tougher. They survived the boat ride and the exile. Now their stories survive into the 21st century with 19 Crimes.” You should be able to grab a bottle or three from your favorite wine store, as they’re sold pretty widely. You can also download an augmented reality (AR) app to see the stories come to life.

Celebrating 25 years of “Hocus Pocus” Halloweens

“Hocus Pocus” is one of those movies that has endured through the decades to charm several lucky generations. Now that 25 years have gone by since the movie was released on October 20, 1993, the classic Disney flick is getting even more Halloween attention.

The Freeform network is playing “Hocus Pocus” almost every day as part of its TV schedule for 31 Nights Of Halloween. And starting on October 20, you can also catch Freeform’s “Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Halloween Bash,” a 90-minute special featuring musical performances and exclusive interviews, as well as a  “Pop’n Knowledge” edition of “Hocus Pocus,” which will air before and after the bash and “will celebrate everything about the iconic film and the fandom with a mix of trivia, funny observations and commentary around key moments and quotes.” So basically “Pop Up Video” for 90s kids. Sounds kinda fun.

If, by the end of the month, you still crave MORE “Hocus Pocus” viewing parties, AMC will be playing the movie again in theaters from October 26-31.

And if we’re talking collectibles, head over to Spirit Halloween for a 3-pack of Hocus Pocus POP! figures, and check out the Sanderson sisters costumes, mugs, pillows, candles, and wine glasses while you’re there.

Johnnie Walker’s newest whisky is inspired by “Game of Thrones”

In anticipation of the final season of the show, HBO and Johnnie Walker teamed up to make several “Game of Thrones” whiskies – and the first has finally been released. White Walker by Johnnie Walker is a blended scotch whisky in a bottle that looks like frozen glass. “At the heart of this new, innovative blend are single malts from Cardhu and Clynelish – one of Scotland’s most northern distilleries where whiskies have endured long Scottish winters, not dissimilar to the climate north of the wall,” according to a press release. “This special blend has notes of caramelized sugar and vanilla, fresh red berries with a touch of orchard fruit and is best served chilled – the Night King would have it no other way.” The Game of Thrones Single Malt Scotch Whisky Collection will feature eight different single malts and will be available in November.
