Beyonce revealed that she has two actual beehives at her house. “I know it’s random, but I have two beehives. Real ones,” the singer told British Vogue after she was asked to reveal a surprising fact about herself. She has “80,000 bees” that she and her family use to “make hundreds of jars of honey a year.” Beyonce explained that she started the beehives because her  “daughters, Blue and Rumi, both have terrible allergies, and honey has countless healing properties.”

Johnny Depp has lost his highly publicized libel case against the publisher of Britain’s The Sun newspaper. The Pirates of the Caribbean star sued  over an article that claimed he was violent towards his ex-wife Amber Heard while they were together. On Monday Judge Andrew Nicol said that the paper’s claims had been shown to be “substantially true,” and that there was enough evidence to support at least 12 out of 14 claims of physical abuse. The Judge wrote in his judgement, “I accept her evidence of the nature of the assaults he committed against her. They must have been terrifying.”   In a statement, Depp’s law firm said “the judgment is so flawed that it would be ridiculous for Mr Depp not to appeal this decision.”

Bruce Springsteen’s new album Letter to You debuted at No. 2 on the new Billboard 200 chart.  He becomes the first act with new top five-charting albums in each of the last six decades (1970s, ‘80s, ‘90s, ‘00s, ‘10s and the ‘20s).
