Beyonce leads the 2017 Grammy Awards nominations with nine including album of the year. The singer holds on to her title as the most-nominated female artist in Grammys history, now with 62 nominations and 20 wins. If she wins eight of her nine nominated categories, she will pass Alison Krauss, with 27 Grammy awards, as the winningest female in Grammy history.
Nicki Minaj is under fire for a video she posted on Instagram. In the video the rapper can be heard laughing at a woman who appears to be suffering from a mental illness. Several people quickly commented that Minaj was being insensitive and was dehumanizing and bullying the woman.
Katy Perry is the most followed celebrity on Twitter for 2016. The pop star had 94.5 million followers. This is the second year in a row that Perry topped the list. She is followed by Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift to round out the top three spots.
Jimmy Kimmel and his wife Molly McNearney are expecting baby #2.The late night host confirmed the news on his show. “My wife is hosting a baby inside her body, so that’s what’s coming,” he joked with the audience. This will be McNearney and Kimmel’s second child together, and Kimmel’s fourth, he has two children from his first marriage.
