Bono opens up about near death experience

Bono revealed he almost died recently in the latest issue of Rolling Stone. The experience played a big part in the band’s latest album. Bono did not go into the details of his near-death experience but he said Songs of Experience explores the theme of mortality. “People have these extinction events in their lives; it could be psychological or it could be physical. And, yes, it was physical for me,” Bono explained.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were two of the 226 passengers aboard a plane that left LAX for Tokyo and then turned around four hours into the flight. An unauthorized passenger was found aboard the flight. Teigen tweeted the ordeal as it unfolded. “A flying first for me: 4 hours into an 11 hour flight and we are turning around because we have a passenger who isn’t supposed to be on this plane,” she tweeted. “Why … why do we all gotta go back, I do not know.” Teigen’s tweet storm continued. “Lmao after all this I will have spent 8 hours on a flight to nowhere,” she wrote. After hours back at LAX Teigen and Legend boarded another flight to Tokyo.

Solange Knowles revealed that she has been forced to cancel her New Year’s Eve performance at Afropunk in South Africa due to a health struggle. The singer shared the news on social media on Wednesday. “The past five months I have been quietly treating, and working through an autonomic disorder.” Knowles explained that her diagnosis was “complicated” and that she is “still learning so much myself.” She said her doctors would not clear her for such a long flight and doing a show right after.
