BRITNEY SPEARS announces WORK HIATUS

Britney Spears announced that she is halting all of her work to support her father Jamie after he suffered a “life-threatening” illness. “I don’t even know where to start with this, because this is so tough for me to say. I will not be performing my new show Domination. I’ve been looking forward to this show and seeing all of you this year, so doing this breaks my heart. However, it’s important to always put your family first… and that’s the decision I had to make. A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died,” Spears wrote in an emotional post on social media.

John Legend spoke out about appearing in Surviving R. Kelly. Legend is the only major musician to appear in the docuseries on Lifetime that features woman detailing accusations of sexual , mental and physical abuse by Kelly. “To everyone telling me how courageous I am for appearing in the doc, it didn’t feel risky at all,” the Grammy winner tweeted on Thursday night. “I believe these women and don’t give a f—k about protecting a serial child rapist. Easy decision.”

Rami Malek confirmed his long-rumored relationship with his Bohemian Rhapsody co-star Lucy Boynton. The couple arrived separately to the Palm Springs International Film Festival’s Film Awards Gala where Malek was being honored.  He began his acceptance speech by saying, “I’m just really honored to be here, so thank you to the Palm Springs Film Festival. It’s a privilege, it’s not lost on me and I’m so appreciative.” He continued, “Thank you, Lucy Boynton. You have been my ally, my confidant, my love. Thank you so much.
