Britney Spears is the latest pop star to take a ride with James Corden on Carpool Karaoke. Spears will appear on The Late Late show on Thursday August 25th and her new album Glory is set for release on August 26th. Corden’s ride with Adele now holds the YouTube record for the most watched late night clip with more than 121 million views.
According to Deadline Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Anne Hathaway, Nora Lum and Helena Bonham Carter will be joining Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock for the upcoming Oceans Eight. One name is still needed to round out the all female cast and Elizabeth Banks is one of the likely contenders as rumors have been swirling for months about her joining the Oceans Eleven franchise spin off.
Ed Sheeran is being sued for allegedly copying Marvin Gaye’s, Let’s Get It On. The estate of Ed Townsend, one of the producers for the hit song feels that Sheeran borrowed too much from their song for his hit Thinking Out Loud. The suit claims that the melody and rhythm of Thinking Out Loud are “strikingly similar” to Let’s Get It On. The song is one of Sheeran’s biggest hits and has earned him millions.
