Carson Daly officiated Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s wedding on Saturday. “The best way to describe it is it was perfectly them — the whole weekend and the marriage itself,” Daly said on the Today show. “It was as elegant and refined and cool as Gwen is, and it was as country and down-home and fun as Blake is.” Daly also revealed that he convinced the couple to write their own vows. “I went to them months ago and said, ‘I think you guys should write your own vows. We shouldn’t just do the repeat after me,'” Carson recalled. “They were really reluctant to do that, but … it’s two of the best songwriters in the world, we want to hear your words.”
Britney Spears’ manger Larry Rudolph submitted his resignation Sunday night. “I was originally hired at Britney’s request to help manage and assist her with her career. “It has been over 2 1/2 years since Britney and I last communicated, at which time she informed me she wanted to take an indefinite work hiatus. Earlier today, I became aware that Britney had been voicing her intention to officially retire,” Rudolph wrote in an email. “As her manager, I believe it is in Britney’s best interest for me to resign from her team as my professional services are no longer needed.”

Are you OK? This is it. I’ve never been better.” She added, “I love all the love that’s coming my way right now and all of the good wishes. And I just want everybody to know that it’s the best time. It’s the best time of my life.”
