Chris Hemsworth is taking “time off” from acting. The Thor star told Vanity Fair that after filming the final episodes of his series Limitless for Disney+ he decided to take a break to spend time with his family. While filming the show, Hemsworth learned that he is 8 to 10 times more likely than the average person to develop Alzheimer’s disease. In his interview with Vanity Fair, he said that this news led him to make significant changes in his life. He also said that Disney+ offered to cut his test results from the episode.
According to multiple outlets Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles are taking a break. A source told People that “He’s still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A. It’s a very amicable decision.” The two are reportedly still close friends and just “have different priorities that are keeping them apart.”
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are teaming up as business partners again. According to Deadline the pair are set to launch Artists Equity a production company backed by RedBird Capital partners. The company plans to provide a “talent-friendly” environment to creatives. Media investor Gerry Cardinale is said to have committed at least $100 million to the venture. Affleck will serve as CEO and Damon is chief content officer.
