A fake BBC Twitter account falsely claimed that the Harry Potter star had tested positive for the virus. The actor’s rep confirmed to Buzzfeed that the rumor is “not true.” The original tweet has been taken down.
Michael Strahan accused his ex-wife of physically and emotionally abusing their twin daughters. According to TMZ the Good Morning America co-host is seeking primary custody of teenagers Sophia and Isabella. Strahan claims that his ex has been engaging in a “pattern of abusive conduct towards the children for years,” and that he has proof of physical and emotional abuse that he will detail in sealed documents. He also alleges she doesn’t take the girls to court-ordered therapy sessions, and claims she’s the reason they continually miss volleyball games and equestrian events.
Harvey Weinstein was sentenced on Wednesday morning to 23 years in prison for sex crimes. The six women who testified against him were in the courtroom’s front row. The disgraced producer is 67-years-old and is in poor health and will likely die in prison. Weinstein spoke briefly at his sentencing and said, “I have great remorse for all of you. I have great remorse for all women.” He also said he was “totally confused” by the charges against him.
