Mark Zuckerberg announced that President Donald Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts will be suspended indefinitely. “We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great,” Zuckerberg wrote. “Therefore, we are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete.”
Karlie Kloss says she “tried” to reason with her in-laws Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump about the election results. Kloss tweeted, “Accepting the results of a legitimate democratic election is patriotic. Refusing to do so and inciting violence is anti-American,” in response to the riot at the Capitol. When someone commented, “tell your sister in law and brother [in] law,” the super model responded with “I’ve tired.” Kloss is married to Jared Kushner’s brother Joshua.
According to the Los Angeles Times Katie Couric will be one of the people to host Jeopardy! after Alex Trebek’s final episodes air this week. The former Today co-anchor will be one of many guest hosts until the show finds a permanent replacement. Trebek passed away in November after a battle with pancreatic cancer but he pre recorded episodes that have been airing.
