Dwayne Johnson’s superhero dreams will come true for Christmas 2021. Johnson revealed the release date for “Black Adam,” his superhero movie spinoff of “Shazam!” on Instagram. The DC film will open on Dec. 22, 2021. Along with the release date fans got their first look at Johnson as Black Adam. “Like most kids growing up, I dreamed about being a superhero. Having cool superpowers, fighting for what’s right and always protecting the people,” Johnson wrote in the post. “My superhero dreams have come true. I’m honored to join the iconic #DCUniverse and it’s a true pleasure to become, BLACK ADAM. “
