Dwayne Johnson says he was the first choice to host the Oscars. The Rock responded to a fan’s comment on Twitter who suggested the he should host the upcoming awards ceremony. He tweeted, “Ah mahalo dude, I was their first choice to host this year, and my goal was to make it the most fun and entertaining Oscars ever,” he tweeted. “We all tried hard, but couldn’t make it work since I’m shooting ‘Jumanji.’ Academy and I were super bummed but maybe one day down the road.”
Ozzy Osbourne is in the hospital. His wife Sharon revealed the news on Wednesday. “As some of you may have heard, Ozzy was admitted to hospital following some complications from the flu,” Sharon tweeted. “His doctors feel this is the best way to get him on a quicker road to recovery. The rocker announced that he was postponing the U.K. and European dates of his tour due to doctor’s orders last week.
Susan Lucci revealed on social media that she suffered a serious health scare. ”On a late October afternoon, I had a wakeup call,” Lucci said in a photo caption on her Instagram account. “Narrowly missing a severe heart attack, I realized how vulnerable life is and how incredibly grateful I am to be here today.” The legendary soap star revealed she had a blockage in her heart and had to undergo emergency surgery.
