EDDIE REMAYNE says role in DANISH GIRL was a MISTAKE

Eddie Redmayne said that playing a trans character in The Danish Girl was a “mistake. The role earned him an Oscar nomination in 2016. Redmayne told The Sunday Times, “No, I wouldn’t take it on now. I made that film with the best intentions, but I think it was a mistake.” He added, “The bigger discussion about the frustrations around casting is because many people don’t have a chair at the table. There must be a leveling, otherwise we are going to carry on having these debates.”

Jennifer Lawrence is returning to public life after a break from the spotlight. She opened up to Vanity Fair  about why she will not be discussing her husband and first child in interviews. “Every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can. I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”

Freida Pinto and her husband Cory Tran have welcomed their first child together. The Slumdog Millionaire star announced the happy news on Sunday sharing photos of herself and Tran both holding the newborn and she revealed his name, Rumi-Ray.
