Elton John used social media to thank his fans for their support on Tuesday. “Woke up to an avalanche of well wishes,” the singer captioned a photo of himself. “Thanks to everyone for reaching out. I’m resting well and looking forward to getting back on tour.” John was forced to cancel all of his shows for April and May due to contracting, “a harmful and unusual bacterial infection.” The Grammy winner is expected to make a full recovery and is scheduled to return to the stage on June 3rd.
Scott Baio back tracked on comments he made about the death of his former co-star Erin Moran. Baio had said, “For me, you do drugs or drink, you’re gonna die,” on The Bernie & Sid radio show after learning that Moran had passed away. Shortly afterwards the news that Moran passed away from stage four cancer broke. ” Please stop assuming the [worst] in me. I’m a compassionate person. I’m very heartbroken over her passing., especially since it was cancer.” Baio wrote on Facebook.
Seth Meyers will host the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards. This will be Meyers second time hosting the awards he previously emceed in 2012. The CFDA Awards are set to take place on June 5th .
