The makers of HBO Max’s reunion special, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, accidentally swapped in a childhood photo of Emma Roberts for Emma Watson. It was a detailed Harry Potter fan who spotted the mistake and of course took to Twitter to share with everyone. “That’s literally Emma Roberts not Emma Watson,” the fan tweeted. The producers of the reunion quickly released a statement about the mix up. “Well spotted Harry Potter fans!” the statement read. “You brought an editing mistake of a mislabeled photograph to our attention. New version up shortly.”
CNN addressed Andy Cohen’s drunken New Years Eve comments about Ryan Seacrest. “Andy said something he shouldn’t have on live tv. We’ve addressed it with him and look forward to having him back again next year,” CNN said in a statement. Cohen has co-hosted CNN’s New Year Eve coverage with Anderson Cooper since 2017.
Sandra Bullock’s reaction to her former co-star Betty White’s death was perfection, “I don’t drink vodka … but I will tonight — on ice, with a slice of lemon with a hot dog on the other side and just be OK being sad,” Bullock said in a statement to People, referencing White’s favorite food and beverage. “I’ll have to buy some rose-colored glasses because Betty was that for all of us.”
