Designer Kate Spade was found dead of an apparent suicide in her Manhattan apartment on Tuesday. The 55-year-old fashion icon was found in her bedroom hanged by a scarf tied to a doorknob. A note was reportedly found at the scene. Kate launched her brand Kate Spade with her future husband Andy in 1993. She leaves behind a 13-year-old daughter, Frances Beatrix.
