FKA twigs is suing former boyfriend Shia LaBeouf. The suit accuses him of “relentless abuse” including sexual battery, assault and emotional distress. She says he knowingly gave her an STD. LaBeouf responded to the suit in an email to The New York Times. “I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years.”
Hallelujah! Whoopi Goldberg is set to return for the third installment of Sister Act . The news was announced on Thursday during Disney Investor Day. Goldberg will reprise her role as Deloris Wilson, the lounge singer-turned-nun almost three decades after the first film. Sister Act was released in 1992 and grossed more than $230 million worldwide. Tyler Perry and Goldberg will co-produce.
Tommy “Tiny” Lister died Thursday at the age of 62. Lister is best known for his roles in Friday and The Fifth Element. According to TMZ he was found unresponsive in his apartment in Marina del Rey. He was pronounced dead on the scene. According to a statement from the Sheriff’s Department it’s believed that he died of natural causes but an autopsy will be performed.
