George Clooney is taking a step back from acting. Clooney hasn’t acted in a film since 2016 and in an interview with The Sunday Time he admitted that it isn’t a priority for him anymore. “Look, I acted for a long time ,and you know, I’m 56. I’m not the guy that gets the girl anymore,” he said. “Acting used to be how I paid the rent, but I sold a tequila company for a billion f— dollars. I don’t need money.”

Ben Affleck is taking a cue from director Kevin Smith. He will no longer profit from his Harvey Weinstein movies. Affleck told Fox 5 DC that , “Once Kevin suggested that , I decided to do the same thing, so any further residuals that I get from Miramax or a Weinstein movie will go either to F.I. or to RAINN. One is Film Independent , and the other is women’s organization. I just don’t want to  cash any more checks from the guy, you know.”

Jimmy Fallon’s mother, Gloria, passed away on Saturday. The Tonight Show was canceled last Friday so the host could be by his mother’s side in the hospital. Fallon said in a statement that he lost his “biggest fan.” NBC  issued a statement of condolences and announced that reruns will air all this week in place of new episodes.

Patton Oswalt is once again a married man. The comedian tied the knot with Meredith Salenger over the weekend in Los Angeles. The couple announced the news on social media. Oswalt wrote, “What’d you guys do yesterday,” on Instagram along with a photo of himself with his bride and his daughter Alice.
