GEORGE CLOONEY SADDENED over CHILD LABOR claims against NESPRESSO

George Clooney is “saddened “ over allegations of child labor violations by Nespresso. A UK documentary series, Dispatches for Channel 4 obtained footage that reportedly shows children working for up to six days a week picking beans on remote farms. In a statement  Clooney, who is the brand’s ambassador, said “Clearly this board and this company still have work to do. And that work will be done. I would hope that this reporter will continue to investigate these conditions and report accurately if they do not improve.”

Laura Prepon and Ben Foster have welcomed their second child. The Orange is the New Black star announced the happy news on Instagram . She posted a photo of herself with her newborn in her arms captioned, “Welcoming home our new bundle of love. Overwhelmed with gratitude.” The couple are already parents to 2-year-old daughter Ella.

Bob Iger is stepping down as Disney’s CEO effective immediately. Iger will remain executive chairman of the company through 2021. “With the successful launch of Disney’s direct-to-consumer businesses and the integration of Twenty-First Century Fox well underway, I believe this is an optimal time to transition to a new CEO,” Iger said in a statement. Bob Chapek , who served as the chairman of Disney Parks, will assume Iger’s role as CEO.
