GWYNETH PALTROW WINS SKI TRIAL

Gwyneth Paltrow’s trial has ended. On Thursday after a short deliberation the jury decided Paltrow was not responsible for the 2016 ski collision with Terry Sanderson. The jury awarded the Iron Man star $1. Juror Samantha Imrie said in an interview on Good Morning America that it was evidence, not Paltrow’s celebrity, that swayed the jury. She said Sanderson seemed to be telling “his truth” but she thought it was “distorted.”

Emilia Clarke will make her Marvel cinematic Universe debut in the upcoming Secret Invasion for Disney+. Samuel L. Jackson told Vanity Fair that the Games of Thrones star will play G’iah a radicalized Skrull. G’iah made a brief appearance at the end of Captain Marvel as a little girl.

Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks will co-host the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards. Parton said in a statement that she’s “thrilled to be hosting with her friend. “While I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with him throughout the years, I can’t believe we’ve never had the chance to work together,” she said. The CMA’s will be held on May 11th in Texas.
