Harvey Weinstein is guilty on two counts in his New York City trial. The disgraced producer was found guilty of rape in the third degree and criminal sexual act in the first degree. A jury of seven men and five women read the verdict after five days of deliberation on Monday. The judge ordered Weinstein jailed until his sentencing next month. He is facing a sentence of 5 to 25 years in prison.
Katy Perry thanked first responders after a gas leak caused an evacuation of American Idol auditions. Perry noticed that smell of gas during the auditions. They evacuated the building and once outside she collapsed. Perry was quickly pulled up by her fellow judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie .
Kirk Douglas reportedly left the majority of his $61million fortune to charity. According to The Mirror $50 million will go to his charity, the Douglas Foundation, which benefits Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, The Kirk and Anne Douglas Childhood Center, and a St. Lawrence University scholarship for underprivileged students, among others. The Spartacus star and his wife Anne started the foundation in 1964.
