JAY-Z says he was NOT MAKING A POLITICAL STATEMENT AT SUPER BOWL

Jay-Z explained why he and Beyonce remained seated during Demi Lovato’s performance of the National Anthem at Super Bowl LIV. The singer said they were not making a political statement. During an appearance at Columbia University Jay-Z was asked about the incident. “The whole time we’re sitting there, we’re talking about the performance,” Jay-Z explained. ” He said it wasn’t until a phone call after Lovato’s national anthem performance that he realized what the situation looked like and said it was not done on purpose. 

Viola Davis is teaming up with Showtime for  the upcoming series First Ladies. The Oscar winner will take on the role of former First Lady Michelle Obama. The hour-long drama will explore the personal and political lives of some of America’s most charismatic, complex and dynamic first ladies. Season one will focus  on Eleanor Roosevelt and Betty Ford in addition to Obama. Davis will say goodbye to her role of Annalise Keating on How to Get Away with Murder this spring after six seasons. 

Kevin Hart opened up about his recovery from his horrific car accident back in September in a new interview with Men’s Health. “I’m not trying to get back to where I was before — I want to be better than before,” Hart, told the magazine. “It’s a resurrection. That’s the best way for me to put it. I feel like the other version of myself died in that moment and this new version was born to understand and to do better.”
