Jimmy Kimmel apologized after his impersonation of NBA star Karl Malone resurfaced online. The late night host appears in blackface in the sketch from The Man Show. “There is nothing more important to me than your respect, and I apologize for those who were genuinely hurt or offended by the makeup I wore or the words I spoke,” Kimmel wrote in a statement. “I believe that I have evolved and matured over the last twenty-plus years and I hope that is evident to anyone who watches my show,” he continued. “I won’t be bullied into silence by those who feign outrage to advance their oppressive and genuinely racist agendas.”
Charlize Theron shot down rumors that she almost married Sean Penn. During her appearance on The Howard Stern Show the host asked for an update on her personal life and implied that she “almost got married to Sean.” “What? That’s not true. No. I did not ‘almost get married to Sean.’ That’s such bulls–t. We dated. That was literally all we did,” Theron replied.
