Johnny Depp has requested a delay in his upcoming defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard. According to Variety the court case is slated to begin on January 11th in Fairfax County,Virginia . Depp requested to have the trial rescheduled to anytime between March and June 2021so it does not interfere with the filming of the latest Fantastic Beasts film. Depp plays the dark wizard Grindelwald in the film which is scheduled to start filming in London in early October.
Whoopi Goldberg urged Disney to honor Chadwick Boseman by building a Wakanda theme park. “Dear People in charge of building NEW experiences. We don’t really need another Frozen land BUT what we could use is Wakonda [sic], please Disneyworld Disneyland PLEASE build in Chadwick Boseman’s name WAKONDA” she wrote on Twitter.
Miranda Lambert is this year’s top CMA Awards nominee with seven nods bringing her career total to 55. Lambert moved ahead of Reba McEntire (who this year landed her 51st nod) as the most nominated female artist in CMA history. These nominations put Lambert in fourth place on the all-time list. Lambert and Carrie Underwood are both nominated for entertainer of the year. It’s the first time two female acts have competed in that category since 2000.
