Jon Bon Jovi talked someone out of taking her own life. In a video shared by police in Nashville the singer is seen slowing approaching a woman on a bridge. He was filming a music video when he and his team noticed her standing on the outer ledge of the bridge and clenching onto the handrails. Accompanied by an unidentified person, Bon Jovi appears to speak with the woman in distress and eventually helps lift her back over the ledge to safety. He is seen giving the woman a hug moments later. A spokesperson for the Nashville Metro Police Department told CNN that the woman, whose name they are not releasing, was taken to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation.
Taylor Swift announced on Tuesday that she is supporting Vice President Kamala Harris for President. The pop icon explained in her statement why she felt the need to speak out. “Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”
