Julie Bowen and her sister helped rescue a hiker when she collapsed last week at Arches National Park in Utah. The woman Minnie John wrote about the incident on Facebook. “All I remember is sitting there with my head in my hands secure on the rock,” John wrote. “Next thing I hear someone with a familiar voice kept asking me questions. I wondered if i might be watching tv.” Bowen’s sister who is a doctor bandaged her injuries. John said she recognized Bowen but couldn’t quite place her, and that the actress smiled and told her she starred on “Modern Family.” John is a diabetic and had fainted because her “sugar went low” and she was dehydrated.
Bob Odenkirk updated fans on his condition. The Better Call Saul star collapsed on set last week from a small heart attack. “I am doing great,” he tweeted. “I’ve had my very own ‘It’s a wonderful life’ week of people insisting I make the world slightly better. Wow! Thank you, I love everyone right now but let’s keep expectations reasonable!”
Dwayne Johnson joined the debate about celebrity bathing habits. While stars like Jake Gyllenhaal, Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis have confessed to bathing less often Johnson does not agree with the trend. When a fan asked him on twitter if he was one of those stinky ones he replied, “Nope, I’m the opposite of a ‘not washing themselves’ celeb.” He went on to detail his showering routine. “Shower (cold) when I roll outta bed to get my day rollin’. Shower (warm) after my workout before work. Shower (hot) after I get home from work. Face wash, body wash, exfoliate and I sing (off key) in the shower.”
