Kevin Smith tweeted a selfie from his hospital bed Sunday night revealing that he had a major health scare. “After the first show this evening, I had a massive heart attack,” he wrote. The doctor who saved my life told me I had 100% blockage of my LAD artery (aka “the Widow – Maker”). If I hadn’t canceled show 2 to go to the hospital, I would’ve died tonight.” Smith seemed to be in good spirits and shared in a follow up Facebook post that he is likely facing some lifestyle changes and maybe it’s a good time to go vegan.
Heather Locklear was arrested Sunday night on suspicion of domestic battery and assault on a police officers. Deputies responded to a call at her home about a domestic disturbance report. Locklear was uncooperative and became combative with the deputies. The former Melrose Place star was reportedly fighting with her boyfriend and that is what triggered the initial call.
Katy Perry performed three songs at a charity concert this weekend for survivors and first responders of the Thomas Fire and the Montecito mudslides. Perry’s performance was a surprise at the One805’s Kick Ash Bash in Summerland. David Foster, Katharine McPhee and Kenny Loggins were among the performers at the event which raised nearly $2 million for the community.
