Kim Kardashian apologized after facing backlash for an offensive remark she made in her Instagram post. “I want to apologize for what I said in a recent video post that is inappropriate and insensitive to the special needs community,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said in a statement. “I try to learn from my mistakes and this is one of those times. Please know that my intention is always pure, and in this case, it was a mistake. I’m sorry.” Kardashian used the R-word when she was frustrated that people did not recognize her Halloween costume. She was dressed as Pamela Anderson and her best friend Jonathan Cheban dressed as Tommy Lee. 

Katie Holmes was spotted with a diamond ring on that finger on Wednesday in New Orleans. Of course the engagement rumors started. Holmes has been linked romantically to Jamie Foxx for years even though the two have never confirmed their relationship. Turns out that Holmes was wearing the ring for her role in The Secret. “Katie’s not engaged to anyone besides her fictional movie fiancé, played by Jerry O’Connell,” her rep said .

Natalie Portman opens up about how the Time’s Up movement has brought her closer to woman in the industry in a new interview in Vanity Fair. “I’ve been working for 25 years,” said Portman. “I’ve never had friendships in my industry until now.” She said she’s often found herself as the only woman starring in a movie’s cast. “It’s made us come together. We’re actively gathering,” Portman said. “Just the power of us getting to know other women in our own industry and sharing information that can help us be safer, more productive, more successful.”
