Bob Barker has passed away at the age of 99. Barker’s publicist Roger Neal confirmed the news on Saturday morning. The gameshow legend died of natural causes in his Hollywood Hills home. “It is with profound sadness that we announce that the World’s Greatest MC who ever lived, Bob Barker, has left us,” Neal’s statement read. Barker’s entertainment career started in Radio He began his television gameshow host career in 1956 by hosting Truth or Consequences. Barker hosted the show until 1975. He also hosted the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants on CBS from 1967 to 1987 making history as the longest running pageant host in pageant history. Barker began hosting The Price is Right on CBS in 1972 where he remained for 35 years before stepping away in 2007.
