Lori Loughlin made her return to television over the weekend. Loughlin reprised her role as Abigail Stanton in the season 2 premiere of When Hope Calls. She last played Abigail on season 6 of the Hallmark Channel’s, When Calls the Heart before they cut ties with her over the college admissions scandal.
Leonardo DiCaprio jumped into a frozen lake to save his two huskies, Jack and Jill, when they fell into the water while they were visiting the set of Don’t Look Up. His co-star Jennifer Lawrence explained during a segment of Entertainment Weekly’s Around the Table, “One of the dogs fell in, and he jumped into the frozen lake to save the dog. As soon as he pushed the one dog out of the pond, the other one jumped in.” DiCaprio added, “Well, the other one started licking the one that was drowning, and then we all were in the frozen lake together.” He said that the incident was especially shocking to his pups, which are used to the warmer waters of southern California.
More bad news for Chris Noth. The Sex and the City star was dropped from the CBS series The Equalizer. “Chris Noth will no longer film additional episodes of ‘The Equalizer,’ effective immediately,” Universal Television and CBS said in a statement. Three women have accused Noth of sexual assault.
