Mark Hamill gets a street named after him

Mark Hamill was in San Diego this weekend to celebrate having a street named after him. The Star Wars icon lived in the Claremont neighborhood for four years in the 1960’s. Hamill moved around a lot as a kid since he was the son of a naval officer but spent the longest amount of time in San  Diego. “Part of me is honored because the community reached out to make me part of something I’ve wanted for so long – a sense of place. I don’t really have a home town, but if I could pick a hometown it would certainly be San Diego,” Hamill told the crowd.

Nicole Kidman is open to doing more TV. The Oscar winner was recently nominated for an Emmy for her performance in HBO’s Big Little Lies, which she also executive produced with Reese Witherspoon and David E. Kelly. “Would I love to do more TV? Absolutely. Is it in the future? I don’t know,” Kidman said during a panel at the Television Critics Association press tour. She will next be in in Sundance TV’s Top of the Lake.

Former Hills star Whitney Port and her husband Tim Rosenman welcomed their first child a son named Sonny Sanford Rosenman on Thursday. The former reality star turned designer announced the news on social media. “Sorry I’ve been MIA for like a week! Lost my phone. Just kidding!! I made a human,” she wrote on Instagram.
