Mark Wahlberg’s request for a pardon over assaults he committed as a teenager in 1998 has been closed. Wahlberg never responded to a letter asking if he wished to keep his request open so the government closed the case. Wahlberg recently told reporters the he regretted asking for the pardon. The Oscar winner served 45 days in jail for the assault case.
Rob Lowe has joined the cast of Super Troopers 2. Production on the film began in Boston just last week. Lowe will play Guy Le Franc, a former hockey player and the current mayor of a Quebec Canadian border town.
Jessica Alba may be on the verge of selling The Honest Company. The Wall Street Journal reported that Unilever PLC is currently in discussions to buy the company. The deal could net Alba $1 billion dollars.
Tom Cruise is back on board for Mission Impossible 6. According to The Hollywood Reporter Cruise is on the verge of closing his deal to return to the franchise. The negations had halted preproduction for the sixth installment of the action thriller.
