MICHAEL J. FOX to receive HONORARY OSCAR

Michael J. Fox will be honored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The Back to the Future star will receive an honorary Oscar at the year’s Governors Awards for his contributions to film and his work to help cure Parkinson’s disease. Fox founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in 2000 and was diagnosed with the disease in 1991. He will receive the Academy’s Hersholt Humanitarian Award. During his career he has won five Emmy Awards, four Golden Globes, a Grammy but he has never been nominated for an Oscar.

Bill Nye is married. According to People the Science Guy star tied the knot with Liza Mundy in Washington D.C. in front of family and friends in late May. The couple reportedly wrote their own vows and chose Sam Cooke’s song “What a Wonderful World for their first dance.

Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook have officially settled their divorce. The couple were married in San Diego in June 2018 and announced their split in September 2021. No details were given on the settlement but the two reportedly went into their marriage with an ironclad prenup.
