Michelle Williams is engaged to Hamilton director Thomas Kai. The two are reportedly expecting their first child together. They worked together on “Fosse/Verdon, for which Williams won an Emmy. Williams is already a mother to 14-year-old daughter Matilda whom she shared with Heath Ledger.
Carrie Underwood will not return as the CMA Awards host. Underwood announced the news on Instagram. “I will always treasure every show, from the 11 that I was so lucky to do with my partner in crime and friend for life, Brad Paisley, to sharing the stage with two of my all-time heroes,” she wrote. “ I’ve decided that it’s time to pass the hosting torch (at least for now!) to others that will cherish it and honor it as much as I do.”
Kevin Spacey has settled the sexual assault lawsuit filed by an anonymous massage therapist. The accuser alleged that he was assaulted by Spacey during a session in Malibu in 2016. A trial was set to take place in federal court in June 2020, but the accuser died, reportedly of cancer, on September 6th. A federal judge still needs to sign off on the settlement between the accuser’s son and the Oscar winner.
