Naomi Watts has signed on to star in HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel . Watts character is described as “a charismatic socialite hiding a dark secret.” The untitled prequel takes place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones. It chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s declined to prosecute  Sylvester Stallone over allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman. Case documents show that the woman said Stallone, assaulted her twice, once in 1987 and again in 1990. These accusations were made to the Santa Monica Police Department last December. Stallone has “categorically denied” the women’s claims.  The case was rejected due to insufficient evidence and it also fell outside the statute of limitations.  

Ben Stiller showed his support for Shawn White after the Olympian received backlash for his Simple Jack Halloween costume. Stiller originally played the character in the 2008 film Tropic Thunder.  Stiller responded to a comment on Twitter after a user suggested that the film should be boycotted. “Actually Tropic Thunder was boycotted 10 years ago when it came out, and I apologized then. It was always meant to make fun of actors trying to do anything to win awards,” the Zoolander actor tweeted in response. “I stand by my apology, the movie, Shaun White, And the great people and work of the @SpecialOlympics.”
